The Scout section is a key, adventurous branch of the Scouts for young people aged 10½ to 14, focusing on developing skills for life through activities like camping, hiking, and canoeing. They work in teams, earn badges, and gain independence, often leading their own activities, fostering leadership and teamwork.
Scouts is the second-oldest section in the movement and serves as a transition between Cub Scouts and Explorer Scouts.

All of our leaders are trained volunteers, working to make sure Scouting is safe, inclusive and accessible. Some lead the Colony week in and week out. Others visit occasionally to help run a session or drop in to share their skills. No matter how much time you have to spare, find out about volunteering on your own terms.
